The 8th workshop NIMS-UR1-CNRS-Saint-Gobain “Materials and Sustainable Development : Issues and Challenges of the 21st Century” took place at the National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba, Japan on November 7 and 8.
About fifty researchers, lecturer-researchers, post-docs and PhD students presented their results. This event was an opportunity to discuss current and future collaborations between the UMI LINK and the mirror units ISCR in Rennes and CRISMAT in Caen.
The closing ceremony was marked by the interventions of Jacques MALEVAL, the CNRS office in Tokyo and Jean-Christophe AUFFRAY, advisor for science and technology at the French Embassy in Tokyo.
