Welcome to Rennes in April 2022 for the International Green Catalysis Symposium!
The art of organometallic catalysis lies at the heart of the 4th edition of this conference. It will bring together scientists from around the world to share their recent discoveries on sustainable catalysis arising from molecular metal complexes, including their heterogeneous applications. Clean processes leading to complex molecules and molecular materials; biomass transformations into useful industrial intermediates; polymerization catalysts and biodegradable polymers; catalysts for energy economy or energy generation will be presented. The impact of organometallic catalysis on life sciences and material sciences will also be prominently featured.
GreenCat 2022 will highlight modern trends in:
- Organometallic Catalysts
- Step Economic Synthesis
- Transition Metal Catalyzed Clean Processes
- Design of Novel Sustainable Methodologies
- Valorization of Biomass
- Catalysts for Polymer Chemistry
The conference is suited for chemists from both academia and industry. PhD students, postdocs and young researchers will have the opportunitiy to plan their future career and prospect new positions by exchanging and discussing with senior scientists. Besides invited lectures by leading colleagues from Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands and United Kingdom, there will be 40 slots for oral communications and space available for 100 posters.
For PhD students from Rennes, 12 h for a participation and 18 h for a participation with a poster presentation will be allocated by the Doctoral school 3M for the doctoral formation.
