Biography

Ie-Rang Jeon obtained her PhD in physical chemistry of condensed matter in 2012 at the University of Bordeaux (France) under the supervision of Dr. Rodolphe Clérac and Prof. Corine Mathonière. In 2013, she joined the group of Prof. T. David Harris as a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University (Chicago, USA). In 2016, she was awarded an ANR “Hosting High-Level Researchers” grant (2016-2019) for doing her research at the Institute of Sciences Chimiques de Rennes (CNRS UMR 6226) in the group of “Matière Condensée et Systèmes Electroactifs”. Her research interest is applying synthetic inorganic chemistry and crystal engineering to develop multifunctional molecule-based materials by controlling geometric and electronic structures.
