The French Neutron Society (SFN) organises the Neutron Scattering Meeting (JDN2023). It will take place at the Cap France Roz Armor holiday village, in Erquy, in Brittany, from October 9 to 12, 2023.
This multidisciplinary scientific conference will present new results, obtained by neutron scattering, on topics of interest to the entire scientific community.
Thematic sessions will be organised in the respective fields of Soft Matter, Condensed Matter, Magnetism, Biology and Environment, and Instrumentation. Each of these sessions will begin with an invited oral communication and will be followed by several oral communications. In addition, a special half-day session will be dedicated to Compact Sources. A poster session covering all the scientific themes will also be organised.
With the JDN meeting, the SFN wishes to :
- strengthen the links between French neutron scattering users
- provide a place where advances resulting from neutron scattering e xperiments can be presented and discussed in a friendly and stimulating environment
- inform the user's community about the evolution of neutron facilities in France and abroad, and about the development of new neutron techniques, instrumentation, and their applications
- welcome and promote the work of the work of young neutron users.
