The Rennes Institute of Physics (IPR-UR1 / CNRS) organizes with the French Society of Physics (SFP) and in partnership with the Rennes Institute of Chemical Sciences (ISCR - UR1 / CNRS / ENSCR / INSA Rennes), the Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (LGCGM-UR1 / INSA Rennes), the FOTON Institute (UR1 / INSA Rennes / CNRS) and the Rennes Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications (IETR-UR1 / CentraleSupélec / CNRS / INSA Rennes / University of Nantes), the 17th national days of condensed matter (JMC) from August 24 to 27, 2021, by videoconference.
Since 1988, the Condensed Matter Days (JMC) have been organized every even year by the Condensed Matter Physics Division of the Société Française de Physique. The topics cover all areas relating to condensed matter, from concepts to applications and often interfaces with other disciplines. The success of these days makes it the largest national congress of physics in condensed matter in France with more than 500 participants.
