Optical bench dn/dT - CO2 laser

The Optical bench dn/dT is to get the evolution of refractive indexes according to temperature evolution between -70°C to 200°C.

It is composed of different lasers such as CO2 laser working in the range 9,6-11µm.

blackbody

Optical bench dn/dλ

The optical bench dn/dλ aims to measure the evolution of the refractive indexes as a function of the wavelength. The set-up works from 2 to 12 µm by using a blackbody (temperature stable sources of IR radiation).

A high resolution is obtained by a precised movement of the goniometer.

Mid IR optical bench

Mid IR optical bench is composed by IR laser (CO2, QCL) and a IR camera working in the 8-12 µm optical window.

This bench permit to characterise chalcogenide bulks and fibers (transmission, light propagation profile and numerical aperture)
