Under the aegis of the Western Section (Bretagne-Pays de la Loire) of the French Chemical Society, the chemists of Rennes are organizing a congress on September 30 and October 1, 2021 in Rennes (Campus de Beaulieu, University of Rennes 1, PNRB, Building 9B).

This congress will be enterally on site.

The originality of this congress lies in its multidisciplinary nature, with many fields of chemistry being represented (supramolecular chemistry, organic synthesis, solid-state chemistry, analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, catalysis, etc.) addresses both fundamental and applied aspects. This year, the first day will be devoted to highlighting the numerous local collaborations with Poland and honoring the recipient of the Franco-Polish SCF award in 2019; Prof. M. SAMOC.

This congress traditionally brings together, every two years, chemists from the two regions of Brittany and Pays de Loire, thus making it possible to strengthen and develop the important links between the different laboratories, a necessary condition for the implementation of joint projects and joint training. , common research structures. This year, it will be more particularly open to doctoral and post-doctoral students from the “Grand Ouest” laboratories, who will find there, for the first time in almost two years, the opportunity to compare their results and their experiences face-to-face and present their results orally.

Six other renowned speakers will, for this occasion, also be invited to present their work in a plenary or “keynote” conference:
