Self assembly, molecular engineering and materials

We are interested in the design and synthesis of organic and organometallic macromolecular compounds and (supra)molecular assemblies that meet specific application requirements. Their assembly, their grafting, their incorporation within or on the surface of an organic, inorganic or hybrid material, and finally the study of the resulting physicochemical properties constitutes the steps towards the elaboration of materials. The applications concerned concern in particular the field of health, with the encapsulation and vectorisation of active principles including nucleic acids, photodynamic therapy or radiotherapy, imaging and diagnosis, but also the fields of detergents and cosmetics, as well as certain aspects relating to electronics or optics.
