Waste oils to replace plastics - ISCR highlighted in the latest Sciences Ouest issue

A new material combines the advantages of glass and plastic. It was invented by a team from Rennes using various oils.

It all started with broccoli seeds. The industry uses these seeds to make food supplements, but the oil extracted is not used because it is not recommended for nutrition.
